I think everyone knows Raymond isn't going anywhere. That's not even the problem I have with these proposals. It's that they're all Raymond + multiple picks and prospects for a player that's older and less valuable than Raymond in a 1 for 1 trade.

Don't take me wrong... I wouldn't trade Raymond but I was trying to understand why many Detroit fans trade him out?

The Lucas Raymond trades are 100% NHLLGRW's fault. It's a troll account who claims to be the biggest Red Wings fan of all time but in the same breath trades Raymond, Veleno, Kasper and a 1st for Konecny. He gets very upset when you tell him his trades are dumb and throws a tantrum and then blocks you.

My all time fav was Lucas Raymond to Nashville for Yakov Trenin. Straight up 1 for 1. I told him how stupid this was and he argued that the Wings might actually need to add a pick to sweeten the deal for Nashville haha.
