A few notes before you cry that I left someone from your team off this list.
1. LD is arguably the strongest position in the league right now. Names such as Dahlin, Q Hughes, and Theodore just missed the cut, but they are top 10.
2. Ovechkin and Panarin are barely top 10 at LW (Ovechkin isn't period), Connor, Debrincat, Stamkos, B Tkachuk, etc etc are not nearly as dynamic offensively to be placed on this list.
3. Oiler fans will want my head on a stake for excluding Draisaitl, but the simple fact of the matter is that he is genuinely awful defensively and he does not drive play nearly as well as he needs to make up for it. Everyone at the C position here is better offensively (no, I don't care about points) and far better defensively, even though some may be slightly negative defensively.
4. Yes, Verhaeghe, Bratt, Meier, Weegar, Sprugeon, and Chabot are THAT good.
5. Sorokin is literally the only reason the Islanders are a decent team. Replace him with an average goalie and the Isles are a borderline lottery team. The goalie position in general is also very strong right now. Demko, Ullmark, and Oettinger just missed the cut.
Having Chabot there and not Hughes or Dahlin is ROUGH. Even Theodore is better. Chabot is not as good as any of them and it isn’t particularly close at this point. I’d say Weegar is below them all as well. Also you saying Draisaitl doesn’t drive play enough is genuinely baffling. Like you didn’t even do your research. Come on now

Chabot is a dynamic offensive talent, and not even bad defensively. Overall, he is better than all three of those guys.
Draisaitl does not contribute to offense nearly as much as you think he does.
apparently you can win the art ross for most points without ''driving play'' . most of drai's assist are primary assist too (by a HUGE margin)
Best passer in the game and one of the best goal scorers... "all these guys are better offensively" lol. Something tells me this guy doesn't know much about hockey.
Or put Bratt above Marner and Stone while arguing about the defense. I get it.
I was just saying that Hughes isn’t bad defensively. Skates so well, his open ice defense is great. Not winning many board battles of faceoffs though.
Bratt's pure offensive ability puts him above Marner and Stone and at the same time, he's not a liability defensively. His offensive ability is that much better than Marner and Stone's to warrant him being better than them.

If you actually look at his possession metrics, they're not close to any one of the 5 C's I have listed. And I can guarantee you I have forgotten more about hockey than you will ever dream of knowing.

You don't won or lose games on possession. Draisaitl has outperformed possession metrics his whole career.
Three time 50+50 player (best of all current players) and you think he's not good offensively?
I love me my Jesper Bratt. He is definitely one of the most exciting to players to watch when he is on. But Mitch Marner is the better player.
Pettersson has probably passed Crosby. His all around game is underrated.
Spurgeon has probably fallen out of the top-10
I cannot disagree more RE: Spurgeon. He's not flashy and that's why he falls under the radar. He's been so criminally overlooked because he doesn't score points or play for a fast-paced skilled team.
