Missing a few pieces in the Helle trade for sure.

Darcy Kuemper from a few years ago might be our best comparable for a trade. But even then Helle should be worth a bit more.

Colorado traded 1st + 3rd + Timmins for Kuemper (50%). Timmins was a good D prospect at the time.

So think of this as B+ or A- prospect (so perhaps Holloway/Bourgault/Broberg is slowly falling into that category as well), 1st in 2024, 3rd round pick - that's the minimum.

Let's say Holloway, 2024 1st (top 10 protected), 2024 2nd for Helle (50% retention) - That's probably what it will take.

You can try to wiggle a depth piece out of Winnipeg in the process as well.

Hawks decline. That's not enough to move 4 years of Campbell.

Nobodies taking Campbell for anything less than a first and top prospect.

Hawks have all Buyout/retained salaries on books done by next season. No way they take on 4 mil for Campbell for that long. Window opens in 2 years and they don’t want dead cap like that.
