William Nylander is far better than Nuge... So the Leafs shouldn't do that deal... And since the Leafs are in win now mode, any deal that won't let them do that should be avoided

I think nearly all of these trades are too far in the Leafs favor. Some are waayyyyy too far in their favor.

Hard to say Willy is better. Both of their stats are boosted by better players around them. At least RNH plays a 200 ft game (both center or wing) and will stick up for himself. At 5mil for 6 more years I'm taking Nuge. Agree with second half of your comment though, I just wanted to include all teams so if they had nothing I just picked young guys I like lol

Lol... As for Nuge... He has 98th percentile hockey IQ and 10 percentile speed (exaggerating but you get the point). I would like the Leafs to get faster and younger, not older and slower and Nuge doesn't do that

2- very unlikely to be interested in Nylander
A) he’s not the kind of player we want
B) will want a contract too big
C) our relationship with his little bro wasn’t the best either

3- even if we were interested in Nylander (again, we aren’t),
there’s just NO WAY we’d trade away Thompson & his GREAT contract, so we can sign Nylander to an overpriced one
