Faksa is a little overpaid but still provides some value in the bottom 6 and could be a Torts guy

Both players are around 30 and not needed on a rebuilding team that wants to play the young kids. Dallas needs the Flyers to take back salary to make it work. So Dallas needs to make it worth their while to take back that salary

It's not all separate transactions being merged into one. Any deal for TK would have the Flyers taking back some cap to make the deal even work. Maybe they get an extra mid round pick or pick upgrade/swap for it to happen, but it's not them dumping Faksa and Hakanpaa and then trading for TK.

I love Bourque since his DY and wouldn't mind him being the base for a deal for TK. This is about a fair offer to consider, not sure if it's enough to push it over the edge but I'd consider this if I was PHI. Maybe add another 2nd to the deal and call it a day

If it isn't a cap dump then its an age based contract dump. They want to free up space so they send the older players to die slowly on a rebuilding team.

Trade's pretty alright though.
