The ship sailed on Edmundson to LA (even 50% retained) once Blake spent $5.875 million re-signing Gavrikov. We'll just have to go with the half-as-expensive Bjornfot (or similar internal alternatives) for #3 LhD.

You already got a sucker for Chiarot, Edmundson was awful, and if you watched him play last season you'd agree. The Kings have several players who have actually won multiple cups, if the Kings need a vet they'd reup Edler at the minimum again, who by the way was better than Edmundsom (and Edler was bad for us last season).

Edmundson played so poorly he'd be a liability on getting to the playoffs. The Habs are a better team without Edmundson, and we both know it. You can't sell what we aren't buying. Our focus is goaltending, and I'd much rather buy De Haan than Edler or Edmundson for a minimum salary.
