Both deals are laughably bad for the teams not named Chicago. Buf prob won't give you #13 alone for Murphy. Yet you expect to get a mid 2nd + Mittelstadt on top of #13?!?

Canucks wouldnt even swap 11 + Myers for 19th overall. Canucks just bought out OEL to avoid paying teams assets to dump cap. We aren't paying to free up cap space. We can trade Myers at 50% ret at the TDL for a 2nd or 3rd rather than move down 8 spots from the first half of the draft to the bottom half AND pay an additional 3rd.

Canucks decline. We weren't paying pick 11 to dump Myers before, and we certainly aren't using it after the OEL buyout.

After the OEL buyout the Canucks don't have to move anyone to clear space let alone give up 11th overall to move Myers. The chaos giraffe will be a trade deadline addition to a cup contender looking for depth and the Canucks will get a late pick for his services. No need to rush and waste assets.

Now if you wanted to move up to 11 according to an NHL draft value chart 19, 44 and 51 would be close to similar value.
