WPG isnt gunna replace Hellebuyck with a guy who is 1 year from UFA status.

As a fan of neither of these teams. I tend to think WPG will want younger prospects/picks. Trading Buck and potentially PLD means a rebuild.

Don't want Hellebuyck. It'll cost to much to get him and since 2010, only 3 Vezina winning goalies have won the cup. Thomas, Vasilevsky ( twice ) and Holtby. Goaltending in the playoffs is wacky. Once a goalie gets on a run in the playoffs ( doesn't matter who it is, like Adin Hill for instance ) they can help you win a cup. I'd rather just keep and hopefully sign Timo long term.

Definitely understand that as Blues fan. Good Goaltending at the right time is all that matters

Hellebuyck is going to Vegas, they can continue to be 12 million over the normal salary cap and hide salary cap on the LTIR until playoff time.

So Tbay and Vegas both 100% our their Cup victories due to that cap cheat code.

Fix it Bettman. Must a Canadian team use the Cap cheat to win to get Bettman to make changes.

I mean, we'll see what happens. We've got the most swiss guys on the team which should make him happy. He gets to play with Jack or Nico who both look like #1 centers. NJ is a team on the rise and he saw that first hand. I'm not saying for him to go for an 8 year 6mil per deal, but Jack is our best player and he should try and stay around the 8-8.5mil range.

Pittsburgh? No offense, but after next yr that window is closing/closed. LA sure, Car I get it. But why not NJ, they are about to be relevant for 4-6 yrs
