This is a horrible take. Seider has so much more value than overpaid Marner. Wingers dont fetch that much like rhd. Plus two 50 point seasons before the age of 22 and would become torontos best dman. Detroit doesn’t even answer the phone.

Marner just doesn't fit the Wings window to warrant moving a stud young piece like Seider. He would immediately become the Leafs best dman, playing the toughest minutes for the next decade on the right side. Seider is one of the most untouchable pieces as it gets it todays NHL. If Marner was doing what he is doing now, but he was 22 years old again and on an ELC then MAYBE it could happen
