I’d hate to lose Tippett. Philly only has 2 people who can score… I’d be asking for a mid 1st in 2023 which I know DAL doesn’t have. My guess is people would say a 2024 1st and 2023 2nd is an over pay but that’s what I’d be asking for if DAL was calling. Maybe take back a small cap dump idk

Tempting for sure. Seeing as what the Flyers have put in front of Hart, he’s played very well, not star level, but well. Seems like VGK fans will look at the numbers and say he’s been underwhelming. I’d say it’s a deal that could work for both sides of VGK is serious about going all in again. Well done

Problem with trading TK tho is.. if chuck actually has to go full rebuild, I think he gets fired. And they could go with a draft-first type of GM. So maybe that plays into it

I guess the question is, how do the flames value valimaki and zary. I’d guess Wolf, Pelletier, Coronato are all untouchable? But maybe not?

Zary, Valimaki, kylington, and the next 2 firsts are all interesting to me…

If the 2023 1st is in play, I’d say:

Cond 2023 1st (t10 protected), Zary?

Swap in valimaki if you need to move cap? Phi sends back a 3rd? Idk spitballin here. Maybe that’s all too high

Not to pile on here, but none of these take into consideration what the other team needs.

COL has no interest in taking on that much salary and parting with 2 of their best prospects… they could just resign kadri.

Minny May part with dumba but not for scraps during a time when they need him. Maybe they look for picks when they can’t ice a roster due to the buyouts

SJS can’t love the idea of taking on another anchor contract on the backend after they just parted with a culture guy for the exact reason. And OEL is not a culture guy

PHI has no cap space and no picks. You’re suggesting they’ll want to make both of those scenarios worse.

Wait is this for real? I thought this was a troll post. Sanheim is = to Lindgren because of contracts? I gotta get off this site. Why would you want Sanheim if Lindgren is so good and cost controlled? Doesn’t NYR have as many issues with the cap as PHI?

Its more a matter of both of these teams are rebuilding in a sense. They would both covet TK because of age. Shopping Schwartz makes more sense to send him to a contender. you could likely get a player like Debrusk, Kappanen, Kravtsov (sp), + picks or prospects which might make more sense long term

I actually like Jaden Schwartz as a leader but this value is way off. Trading away younger makes no sense for PHI. Especially for a team that’s not contending any time soon. Plus that 2nd is more like a 3rd with the way FLA is looking. I could see BOS taking this for Debrusk tho
