The Calgary team on paper should have NEVER missed the playoffs. I actually liked a lot of what Trelliving did. Of course not having Kylington all year, hurt them. But still, I put this on Sutter. Very rare do I blame coaches because they are usually the scape goat for a bad team. This was a very good team.

That would be an underwhelming return for Hanifin. Neighbors is not a good enough prospect to not warrant a 1st not being included.

Severson is going to get way more than that, probably at least 6M, he's also not at all needed as you can see with where you have him in the depths chart.

So two 24 y.o.'s are too old for Conroy but not for a totally rebuilding Hawks team? Sorry, that makes no sense. Hawks aren't trading a 2nd and a 3rd for two arbitration eligible to be RFA's.

NJD doesn't do that. IF they can't get Meier sold, they will be able to get a better package than this. They did pay more for him than this by a decent amount.
