That tampa trade is terrible for the devs

No way the Jets take that. Value aside, if Connor and Helle are moving, then Jets want to rebuild. These are the wrong pieces. Also include a first if you're serious.

Talk about an overreaction. Just resign Bratt and Meier, see if a ufa goalie peaks your interest otherwise run it back with Vitek and Schmid. Schmid is still developing and goalies don't peak til 25 at the earliest. He's going to be fine. Remember, This team wildly overachieved expectations and still has a bare minimum of 3-5 years of improvement left from just natural development. They're going to be fine and a powerhouse, no need to change something that's not broken. Not to mention that goalies NEVER perform as well after a trade, they always regress to a degree.

If TB was willing and able to do that with Palat he'd already be wearing a bolt.

Casey, Holtz and Schmid are perfect rebuilding pieces and Bratt could be a TDL flip for even further assets. Agreed tho that at least one 1st rounder is missing.

Those are all young pieces coming from NJ, as good as picks, maybe drop the 2nd from the Jets but its pretty good for Winnipeg.

It is a package that includes a 75-pt winger, two top-25 prospects, and an impressive young goalie….yet all people see is “2nd round pick” instead of “1st round pick”.

Imagine passing on a haul like this because one wanted a slightly better 3rd liner 5 years from now.

Two star players can get more than this. The Jets don't have any reason to move KFC, and if they do there will be lots of teams in on it. The Jets hold the cards here, and you're overvaluing kids who haven't proven themselves in the NHL.

And yet not a single 1st for both Connor and Hellebuyck going to Winnipeg. That's a offer and Winnipeg rejects.

I doubt Devils have any interest at this price. Bratt is hardly a kid. Has been in the league a few years now. And the three kids would be Winnipeg’s top prospects at their respective positions.

Who cares if the devils are interested. I wasn't calling bratt a kid, he's the only decent trade piece being offered. The rest of them are kids, and the Jets have better prospects at each position. Like I said, you are severely overvaluing some mid prospects. I honestly don't know why the Jets would acquire any of them. They probably won't be more than replacement level players, if they make it to the NHL at all. Casey isn't even signed anyway, his value is precisely 0 until he turns pro.
