Where’s lafreniere? Panarin probably doesn’t fit Montreal’s window or waive for Montreal, that Gallagher contract could look rather awful soon.

So we retain $1.5m per on Gallagher for the next 4 years, while absorbing Panarin's remaining 3-years at $11.6m per, basically paying Panarin (a player that doesn't fit our rebuild at all) over $13.0m a year...and we give Caufield and an early 2nd for Chytil at $4.5m.

And this is suppose to be tempting because... ?
