Tough one to swallow but the Bruins deserved to lose that series. They were awful in the D-Zone from the first minute and Monty wasn't a help at all. Why throw in two banged-up veterans in a lineup that had just won twice on the road? Why shake up the lined juristically? Why keep Ullmark in the net even though he was visibly injured? We may never know. But the goal still, as it always is for the Boston Bruins, is to BE COMPETITIVE. It'll be hard, but possible.

Notes:
- Bergeron and Krejci call it quits
- Other vets (Foligno, Nosek, Wagner) walk to sign with contending teams
- Reilly is bought out
- Cap increases 1 Mil to 83.5 Mil

To fill the 2C void, take your pick between ERod, Drouin, and Monahan. I could also see JD getting dished but if they can fit him under the cap then it's best to keep him. Rest of forwards are rounded up with young players that have spent a good amount of time in Prov. Schenn fills the 3RD void and Bussi gets the call up because I don't believe there's enough money to shell out to a reliable, veteran goalie. The taxi squad guys are potential players I can see playing. If the TDL rolls around and the B's aren't looking good, trade anyone on a 1-yr deal with value. 2024-25 this team will be dangerous, I feel it.
