Dunno if you combine those trades together you'd have Nylander+Brodie+Robertson+28th pick at its highest going for Parayko+Schenn+Toropchenko+25th at its highest. I think TOR is getting spanked here in terms of value.

Gotta say I love it for the Blues, but they would have to have a top-4 RD replacement ready for Parayko as well as Leddy or Krug dumped to really benefit from it. Disregarding that, this is incredibly short-sighted for TOR as you're taking on two 30yo+ contracts the Blues would love to shed a ton of term on.

Honestly the blues don't need another winger. We need to improve the defense and trading out best or 2nd best D isn't going to help. Now maybe if we can make it a 3 way trade where Nylander goes to another team and the blues get future assets or a young potential top 4 D I would do it. Plus Nylander only has 1 more year and he is going to get a raise. We need to pay buchnevich in 2 years and already have Kyrou at 8 mil. Having 3 wingers making 8 mil plus isn't a good way to spend our cap

Nylander trade = not a chance, bro... they would not swap eight years of Parayko for one of Nylander, nor should they even consider such a thing and this deal goes directly against the Blues' needs

Schenn trade = i will start by saying that Robertson is of no interest whatsoever and you're almost certainly not getting Torp... now, if Brodie wasn't an impending UFA, the Blues probably think about this one long and hard... but he is, so i cannot imagine them going for it... and that's IF you had the 23 1st that you are not going to have, so it's all a moot point

MLSE doesn’t know how to run a hockey franchise because they really don’t care to do the hard work. It’s about chasing a big UFA or hiring the coach with the biggest name. It’s a broken organization from the very top. They actually believe we are the gem franchise of the NHL. It’s a complete joke but as long as we are the most valuable franchise in the league they won’t care. Meanwhile other franchises will not buy their own propaganda and they’ll actually work toward building a champion instead of acting like spoiled nobility that deserve to win. That’s why Tampa has been so good. It’s why Pittsburgh was so good.
