MTL aren’t getting a 2nd for Hoffman half retained & Ylönen
MTL will keep Hoffman and not resign Gurianov
Farrell didn’t surpass Ylönen, only RHP did
The 2nd if for Ylonen and knowing ARZ will flip Hoffman for atleast a 2nd round pick at 1.125m after they RS MTL got upgraded from a conditional 3rd to a 2nd with no strings.
ARZ needs bodies to start the season and this way unlike Free Agents you're done within a couple months of getting them and make a profit off them.
MTL did it with Dadanov getting a player who whether you like or not is irrelevant as MSL glows in interviews about how they're helping him unlearn bad habits and really like him in MTL.To be fair at 2.9m i dont want him either , but i also didnt want Armia back over Lehkonen and here we are back in reality where that's the case.
Hahahahahaha you compared a played 3 games in to Ylonen 3-4 years in
Not responding to this section in principle as its a Ludicrous concept to argue , Although it does explain why you like Hoffman over Gurianov choosing Age and a pending UFA over Speed,Size and Goalscoring
Farrel came from a system where 1-2 guys a team play this fast now even the 13 forwards and 7th D play at a high impact pace.
It took Caufield what 5-6 games before he found consistency toward the end just before we went to the playoffs .
3 games and he wasnt a liability , he got a goal and his linemates are on point streaks ... what a horrible start right ?
We only gave Ylonen 3 years Pro in Liiga , 3 years Pro in North America but giving Farrell more then 3 games , inconceivable lol
I get you like Ylonen so did i the first few years.
Now he's in Heineman's and Teasdale way with both being superior players in every aspect doing more at every level quicker and more consistently .
Teasdale i expect to break first as Heineman's doing great but isnt a complete 200ft player yet even though there's a good foundation.
Teasdale on the other hand had been building towards this moment for 2 years since he had a Set back before the Pandemic then was off during he fell behind but quickly caught back up. The upside we got a Jacked Up Joel Teasdale now who's like Suzuki under 6ft but heavy for his size at over 200lbs of toned muscle . He doesnt start fights but boy o boy does he finish them but i'd describe him more like Marchand Lite with a great shot , speed and the ability to Piss Off Everyone .
