I would say the chances of any of this pretty much being slim to none. Calgary isn’t giving up Weegar. And while I like Hartman so does Minnesota, and I don’t see him signing an extension after next season if he were traded here. I’d bring in Acciari if he would sign, but I don’t think he would.

If a team that is already in contention is calling him, or Toronto wants to keep him, I would imagine he’s going to go there before coming to Buffalo.

I would say the chances of a one for one with Hartman and Mitts is slim to none. Hartman signed a team friendly deal with the Wild and its worked out pretty well for him and the team, I am pretty sure it would take a lot more to pry him from the Wild.

Now I could see him getting moved next year around the TDL if the Wild are not in the playoff mix.

It's real nice of you to take Rooney off our hands, but I don't think Calgary would have their needs addressed by trading him here. They don't need another middle aged winger and would likely have to ship Weegar and another Forward with value to improve either position. Their problem is that they don't have any game breakers (amongst other things).

He's only started to play better the last half of the season. Sutter's system isn't doing anyone favors this year.

I doubt the Canes are going to return the Sabres call on Mr. 10 goals.
