    Why would Matthews leave Toronto just to end up on a team thats far worse? That defence and goaltending is awful and the offence is average.

    Don’t worry this isn’t going to happen.

    Instead Mathews will sign with LA with Clarke improving the defense.

    This goaltending tandem is terrible though. Those won’t be the goalies LA goes with. I’ll put money on that.

    Don't understand the post at all. Why are the Kings trading for UFA...the post is for 24/25, and the Kings really can't afford him in 23/24 except maybe at TDL with retention.

    LA will not give up anything of value for Awful Moustache Man. If he wants to sign in LA as a UFA, he will. Otherwise he won't and he'll play elsewhere.
