Levi is about as untouchable as a prospect gets unless Buffalo acquires a long term goalie in the next 6 months or so, which doesn't seem likely at this point.

Levi is a great prospect and I would love to have him but giving up Farrell who is another equally great prospect then adding to the deal is a hard no for me.

I don't see the point for Sabres to do this.

The Sabres need Levi more than anything in that package.

Farrell for Levi would be fair value but neither side is going to do that. Adding Eddy and Primeau for free makes even less sense for the Habs and the Sabres likely consider taking it since they are getting almost twice the value

Levi is great but Montreal gives to much up you would have to add draft picks or prospect going Montreal way.

i guess i'm in the minority but if i was sabers i would remotely consider that deal. Edmundson at this point with the injury he is coming off is probably equal to a 2nd and a 3rd round pick, Farell a 2nd (i'm super pumped to see what he can do in the NHL but he a smaller sized winger, i hope he has a quick transition into the nhl but could be several years before he reaches his potential which is most likely a middle 6 winger), and Primeau is bordering on a bust from what he was viewed as a few seasons ago.

Its next to impossible to trade for another teams top goalie prospect, especially when that team hasnt had a legit number one goalie in years and is coming into their window as an organization. The offer would need to blow the sabers away and Hughes will not over pay for anyone.
