Description

I believe trades will start to now slowly start to increase and heat up now that the first domino has fallen.

I think there is a possibility for BG to make moves without mortgaging the future too much.

Toews makes sense and can mentor Boldy and help obviously on the ice.

Getting rid of Dumba for something is huge, Pulujarvi has offensive upside and can really contribute on a line with Boldy and Toews.

Greenway needs a fresh start and I think the Wild want to move on from him considering his irresponsibility lately. Schenn comes back to fill Dumbas spot and solidify the D core.

That is, IF they keep Boeser and Garland. Sounds like that's not a given, and the Beauvillier trade makes it seem like Greenway could be their type for a replacement.

Even if they move Boeser and Garland, they’d have Miller, Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, and Beauvillier as wingers making 4M+, as well as Hoglander and Podkolzin who will be back in the NHL later this season or at the start of next season.

I also feel like Greenway could be had for less than what Schenn returns

I think Kane would be a better fit with Boldy than Toews. I realize he isn't a center but he is typically the driver for his line and is a great passer.

Edmonton has no cap space and they already have 4RHD. I can't see them wanting to rental Dumba unless there was an injury to one of their regulars - and then you'd have to retain to make it cap neutral.
