Really fair considering Meier has some value left with 1 year of RFA

No way Holtz and Mukhamadulin are included especially with no contract extension in place. Maybe Walsh instead of Mukhamadulin, but we're not trading 3 firsts for a guy that can walk after a year. And I want Timo more than anyone.

Not sure the Devils do it, Holtz will probably have similar production to Meier one day. And trading a cheap ELC for a player that's going to cost you anywhere from $8,500,000 to $9,000,000 per long term isn't very a wise choice.

Take Shakir out, bump the 1st down to a 2nd and add one of Bahl or Walsh (whichever the Sharks would prefer) would be my suggestion.

Keep one of Shakir/'23 1st in the trade and then you can still have a deal, otherwise it's an underpayment from New Jersey.

in other words, Holtz+Shakir+2nd or Holtz+Bahl/Walsh+1st.
