This is just one of the worst ideas that the Canucks could make. Paying Miller for 14 years and OEL another 8 may make for the worst cap situation potentially ever. Canucks fans have turned on Miller faster than anyone should and it's pretty sad. He's here for the foreseeable, might as well not drag his name through the mud no matter what. Ekman Larsson sucks though; quite possibly one of the worst trades in canuck history, having Dylan Guenther and an extra 12ish mil in cap space would be a blessing right now

How is it worse then having 8 year cap hit against Van then eating 3m for 4 years especially with year 3&4 of OEL Buyout having a near 5m cap hit against us or getting some value for Miller some team will think they can control him and hopefully get him back to the near ppg player he can be? Both are better options then just buying them out for them to sign elsewhere.
