Still don't see why we are giving a pick in the Florida trade for Duclair. They are gonna have to move him for Cap reasons once he is activated from the Achilles injury and especially if we are retaining on Jost.

I really don't want to move Jost. He has said repeatedly how much he loves it here and that he has found himself in his role on the team. As a bottom 6 player who's good on the PK with some offensive upside that's all I coukd ever want.

I would like to see if he would extend here, off course it would need to be cheaper than his QO. Think he fits nicely.

Definitely need to add to the Chicago trade. A 2nd round pick and Bryson doesn't get Murphy. Or take Bryson out and add one of your good young F prospects.

I copied the trade which only received one comment from a Hawk ACGM.

If Buffalo could make those trade, they would have a much better chance of reaching the playoffs.
Upgrade the third line and RHD, just what the team needs.
Jost could be taken out of the Florida trade by substituting a different roster player or prospect.

Honestly, I'm fine with a quality 4C making 2M as long as the wingers are making 750K.

Murphy would cost a B prospect and a 2nd I'd guess. Someone like Johnson/Portillo and a 2nd. He would be a great trade target for Buffalo. Not sure what Duclair's value actually is, but if they shop him he would go to the team that offers the most, which I imagine a team would give up more than a 4C with retention and a 4th. I'm obviously on board with that Mitts trade since I proposed it lol. I wonder what a player like Jeannot would cost? He's having a tough season, but would bring the sort of things we need to the bottom 6.
