M NTC Hornquist would have been traded by now if possible by Florida. Gotta think Ducks keep their picks and cap instead of Boesner Wings certainly keep their first rounder and the cap instead of Miller.

Values are all down for Garland, Boeser and Dermott. Not expecting them to suddenly play better. JT can produce and has continued to. And cap space is sorely needed.

We don't need LW and especially not a player that will be declining when the team is ready to compete in 3-4 years time and is being paid more than anyone else on the team. Tuomisto is the only RD prospect we have and we don't want to give him away for something we don't need.

I don't hate Garland but his usage isn't great. He has found ways again to be productive lacking pp time. That said, it's a lot of money tied up in a player being used that way.

I think the Ducks are going to decline that deal. Our top 6 RW long term will be Terry and Strome, as Strome moves to RW when McTavish takes over 2C.

We really need a LW for the top line.
