If they happen in the reverse order the first one likely would have been called a goal. The 2nd interference and the kicked-in were pretty obvious.

In general NHL has been very strict with goalie interference. No touching or being in their paint so it makes sense.

Matt Murray appreciation post. I’ve gone on record that I did not like that VALUE they got for acquiring him but I was more than fine with the gamble and possible upside in him regaining his form.

Pulling for him to stay healthy and shut all of his doubters down.

I watched the Canada-Belgium soccer game today. Could have been 3 penalties called against Belgium. That just seemed to odd, so they let the 2nd and 3rd infractions go.

Watched the replays on the goals, first one is a good goal, the other 2 weren't in my opinion. Of course you have the sportsnet comment section whining as usual (probably will be the same on editorinleaf but I've given up on that utter piece of crap website), but I don't think the leafs deserved to lose or anything. Looked fine to me.

I think all goals were fine to be disallowed. Bastian did the same thing last game and they called him for it heck gave him a penalty. NHL is being very strict and as we saw Bastian being in the paint prevented Murray from making a proper save.

In general for all teams its simple try and not touch the goalie as its not gonna count. Only if say Marner pushed Bastian into Murray sure but if we look Bastian was right in the blue touching the skate Murray needed to stretch and by the time he moved it was to late for either guy to do anything. Just stay out of the blue and it probs counts

I really want him to do well in Edmonton, I really do. I hope he bounces back, but at the moment, the leafs are looking smart for letting him go.

I just don't think he actually interfered with Murray at all, he barely touched him. Not a huge fan of the call but I've seen worse.

I mean hes touching his skate turns and prevents Murray from stretching out till its to late. Either way the rules be dont be in the blue as even if its minimal contact thats goalies space

Its a weird one but I support protecting goalies as we often see this happen to Gallagher
