I'm bummed he signed with the Rangers, but only because I wanted him to play for a new team this season, or ideally, two or three new teams.

That said, good deal for the team.

I was just about to say...remember back when he was coming out of college and teams were fighting over him?

Still, for league minimum, good depth signing.

If it wasn't for Vesey waiting to be a college UFA, most fans wouldn't even recognize his name. But happy for Vesey that he has pro contract and still living the life as pro, even it means being in the AHL.

He'll start off the season rather well and then fade away, just like he did last season with the Devils. He's lost a step offensively and he's pretty terrible defensively. I'd wish him all the best, had he signed anywhere else besides the Rangers.
