-Easy pass for Arizona. Anderson & Savard don't fit their contention window (probably 3-4 years out) so you're basically giving them your 4th/5th best LD prospect, and two likely late 1sts. It's also worth noting that both those deals are back-loaded - Anderson has 5x$5.5M left in cap hit, but is actually owed an average of $6.1M per season on the rest of his deal; Savard counts for 3x$3.5M ($10.5M total) but is actually owed $11.2M on his last 3 years. Not crazy huge differences, but I think every dollar is going to matter to a team that has to spend their next couple of seasons playing in a college rink.
-San Jose passes - first off, they're already $1.2M over the cap with their current roster so there's no room for Dvorak. Secondly, they only have 3 RHD currently signed to contracts including Merkley, so that opens up a big hole on the right side if they move him out.
-NJ passes. Mike Hoffman's production has been down the last 2 seasons and he's about to turn 33 with 2x$4.5M left. Miles Wood is 26, has shown 20-goal potential, and is $1.3M cheaper than Hoffman. It's going to take more than a 3rd to make up the value difference between the two players.
