Trade doesn't make sense for Oilers. Suter makes more $, lower ppg and is UFA. Maybe if Wings retained 50% to help with the Oilers cap situation.

That would be possible but I don't see why Detroit would want JP, just not much room for him.

You do realize that both Puljujarvi and Suter both had 36 point seasons this past yea? So saying that Suter has a lower PPG isn't true.

Puljujarvi played 65 games as he was out with an injury. Pius Suter played the full 82 game season.

Yes but McDavid or Draisaitl were in on 77% of his points.
