I like what you are trying to do but like someone said already, Van doesnt have the space even with the two contracts coming back.
I dont mind the Pionk deal, but I dont think it is necessary, He's been good for the jets and is under contract
I love the NYI deal, but not sure the islanders do it. Maybe if they are creating space for Kadri after signing Dobson and Romanov

Find it hard to believe Vancouver would have any interest in Wheeler or that Wheeler would want to go there, think Wheeler remains a Jet till he only has one year left and then maybe he'll be moved but even then I could see him remaining with the Jets for the rest of his contract.

I know the Jets typically have to overpay for free agents but no way would they have to give Sprong $2M.

Might be fair trade for Poink, but Sens probably don't want to take on a 5.8m multi year contract. They would rather have cap space when 3m Harmonic is gone next season, and Thompson can be a good (and cheap) NHLer

Why would any Jets trade fan want to trade demelo... Cheap consistent and just plain good at defense.

And Jim Rutherford has been trying to trade for Blake Wheeler for over 10 yrs. He's basically his white whale at this point.

Any trade the Jets make unless they trade a star player will have to take on bad money. Jets fans need to get that in their head. And if Pearson is on your 4th line your team is solid. Holl is actually solid again like Demelo these are guys that aren't flashy but are good at defense. Dmen can be good while not being flashy or big and hitty.
