Not if NJ resigns him. I get it though, save the assets and wait until FA. But if Fitz wants to make a push now, and NJ has enough prospects and don’t need any more high draft picks. Then why not. NJ can’t keep saying “another year to see what our young guys can do.” At some point you have to become competitive and take the next step so guys like Hughes, Bratt, Hischier etc learn how to win and take it to the next level
