Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Move up three spots to get Gauthier. Graft Rutger McGroarty with our second pick. Start Peterka in Rochester but he'll be up within 20-25 games. Bring in Heinen. He's no Konecny but he's cheaper and will be good role model for younger players. I think Asplund/Cozens/Heinen is a great shutdown line. Sign Hayden for muscle. Bring in Bush to solidify back end. I know this will get torn up by the VO lovers but I just don't like his overall game and it doesn't look like he's a part of the longterm plans.

If the Pens decide they're not going to sign Heinen then that would be a fine return for his rights, but I think they're going to find a way to keep him.

If we are going to move up, it better be for Nemec/Jiriceck. Too much similar forward talent to move up for Gauthier, when Savoie/Nazar aren’t too far below him, and one of the 3 will be there at 9.

Assuming you actually want the 6th overall pick, which is Chicago's pick, I think the Jackets would think long and hard about that offer if Nemec/Jiricek are off the board. Ultimately I think they accept, because the value is there and the I think they shy away from picking up even more forwards. The next defenseman taken will be after their 12th pick.

We're just clowning you. This comes up all the time with AGMs looking for one of the picks and thinking Columbus was way worse than they were last year. This actually isn't a bad offer, and assuming Jiricek/Nemec are gone by 6th, I could definitely see them swapping 6 for 9.

I hate this draft, but I also don’t think jarmo moves back unless it’s a sweetheart deal, adding a 2nd and a nobody isn’t really that.

But then you go and throw way Ryan Johnson (1st round pick from 2019) for Heinen.
