Looking at top scoring dmen for BU in recent years...

2022-23: Hutson 35 pts in 25 games
2021-22: Fensore 31 pts in 35 games
2020-21: Farrance 16 pts in 11 games
2019-20: Farrance 43 pts in 34 games

...the one thing they all had in common: Case McCarthy as right-side defensive partner

He is steady, gritty, stay-at-home dman. Probably projects on fringe of NHL. But maybe there is something more there. Will probably be an NCAA free agent in August as his pathway in NJ is likely blocked. Imagine he would get an NHL deal somewhere.

Minnesota still has guys like Rossi, Wallstedt, Brock Faber, Ohgren, Lambos, Yurov, Peart, etc, their pool is pretty decent
