Description

With Dubois saying he wants to test UFA market in 2 years and Wheeler not getting younger and Sheif trade rumors rife it would be a good chance for Jets to rebuild, they get 2nd and 7th OA this year and a shot it Bedard next year, can also trade Dubois, Wheeler and Sheif at Deadline next year for more 1st and prospects

you cant get picks based on players resigning, the nhl doesnt allow that any more. but the leafs would be all over that.

I’d expect the Sens to probably have to add Thomson. I’d still do it

If it’s Thomson + Jarventie + 7th or around that value , I’d for sure consider it. But if we have to switch Jarventie for Greig or Pinto, that’s probably where I’m hesitant to make a deal

Thompson is untouchable, they need someone to play with Chabot that is not named Zeitsev as Zub should play with Sanderson and Thompson is more NHL ready than JBD according to Mann

What would it take to get Connor instead of Ehlers in a Sens uniform? I like Ehlers too, but obviously I'd rather have Connor.

OTT cannot beat 2nd OA vs 7th OA and they would have to add players they would not want to trade to beat 2nd OA

Devils aren’t likely to be moving 2nd overall or Holtz. Even more unlikely to package together. Their needs are more specific - heavier play in front of net and in corners.

Thomson being “untouchable” is asinine. he’s just not that valuable of a piece, JBD is right there too, and neither are ready for top pairing minutes with Chabot anyways.
