If Dadonov wouldn't waive for Anaheim due to tax reasons, it's doubtful he'd waive for LA or San Jose.

They most certainly do not need an injured old Patches in this rebuild, we're contending for Bedard, not a playoff spot.

for reference, he only played 39 games this year. Regardless of that, we aren't paying for wingers at this point. We are rebuilding, and rebuilders don't make that kind of move. that's not even to mention how awkward bring Pacioretty back into the Montreal media would be.

I think a rebuilding team is in the habit of picking up assets, if if it's assets they can trade. Ylonen and a 2nd for a player in a contract year that we can trade as a rental at the deadline for 2 top prospects or a prospect and a late 1st round pick? Yeah... the Habs say thank you and run!

The Habs wont be helping Vegas for assets. Pacioretty is being traded as a cap dump so im not giving up assets for him
