I feel like 1.4mill could be a reasonable retention but possibly another pick or prospect added. Maybe a Villeneuve or a 3rd and 6th added. You know, you gotta pay extra on here for everyone to agree on a trade lmao

This idea that its the teams fault doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Stolarz started 23 games for the Ducks last season. They were 12-8-3 with him in net. A 0.587 point %. Gibson started 56. The team went 18-26-11. A 0.420 points %. The team actively does better, much better, when Gibson isn't in net. It's not that the team in front of Gibson is bad, it's Gibson contributing to how bad the team is. We could go into basic stats, fancy stats, etc. It doesn't matter where you go, the result is the same.

I would not expect them to retain, but otherwise doesn't look bad. Not sure what Ducks need.

Ducks need big young Dmen or high potential forwards and 1st round picks. If we look at their D with Zellweger and Drysdale, ideally they both need to be paired with big tough Dmen. Drysdale with like a Guhle and Zellweger with like a Carlo or Cernak type guy
