I just can’t see ottawa doing this

This is terrible deal for Ottawa.

Abruzzese and a 2024 2nd is an unremarkable return for Connor Brown alone. On top of that Ottawa takes Jake Muzzin, who is quickly approaching the end of his time as a useful NHLer, as well as retaining 3mi+ on Murray and taking on a goalie who was drastically worse this season.

1) Murray with 3.1 retention is much more valuable than Mrazek (even if injured 50% of the time). 3.15 AAV for Murray vs 3.8 AAV for Mrazek, 2 years left for each

Judging on all these ACGMs, Muzzin doesn't seem to have any value left, with a year left at 5.625 too
