Description

Some Thoughts I have while making this roster:

1. There are rumours that both Strome and Wood will not be qualified by their teams this summer.
2. Is Comtois and a 5th enough value for Sandin?
3. Would there be enough incentive for Caps to retain on Jensen?

Jensen isn't available for trade right now, and if he was it would cost a lot more. I know the name doesn't stand out that much but he was excellent all the way around this year. If the Caps are out come the deadline, maybe there's a trade to be made. I'd bet he'd fetch a first

jensen retained would be available in the offseason for something ridiculous like a first plus, or not retained as part of a larger deal for someone like nylander. Caps aren't blowing it up and jensen is too valuable to the team to trade for a third, let alone retain on.

Believe that I may have undervalued Jensen, thought I had heard something about him being out of favor in Washington and knew he had strong underlying numbers. In building the team was looking for a cheap alternative to avoid having to rely on Boosh

He was one of the brightest spots on the team last year, playing on the Caps’ shutdown pairing with Orlov. Probably the best guy on the team in his own zone. Definitely not out of favor. Maybe you’re mixing him up with someone else, like Schultz? That guy’s definitely gone.
