I keep seeing a lot of Muzzin to MTL trades in these ACGM's. Out of curiosity, where's this coming from? I ask because the only spot Habs don't need extra bodies is LD.
Was anything linking the two reported? Again, simply curious.

Also, I doubt Habs sacrifice any assets to acquire a veteran. They're simply not there in their timeline. If they do use draft capital to acquire anything, it'll probably be to move up in the draft or target a younger player.

As a Preds fan who doesn't want to trade Jeannot, doesn't believe in Robertson, and thinks Sandin makes little sense for NSH's needs: TOR is giving up too much for Jeannot here.

the sharks need cheaper players to play. all their D make most of their cap. they will try to move at least one of them i would think.

jeannot is exactly what the leafs need . i dont blame you for not wanting to trade him. i think 1st is fair for the leafs to give up. just my thought anyways . cheers.

I'm guessing this this was directed my way? I was saying that I think the Leafs are giving up too much for Jeannot in your proposal, despite me not loving Sandin or Robertson for the Preds. A 1st, one of your top prospects, and a young roster defenseman is too much, despite how much of a fan of Jeannot I am. If TOR seriously made such an offer, I think NSH should take it (I'd try to get Knies and Liljegren from TOR instead of Robertson and Sandin though).
