Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Focus on bringing in players that are strong two way players (Kulak) that will help boost the team's possession metrics and also bring an element of speed (Nichushkin)

Dump dead weight players who may still have some value (Dumoulin, McGinn) and find better players who cost less.

Team is still good. Try not to overreact

I’m sort of really pissed with McGinn for giving the puck away to a speedy skater like K’Andre Miller and taking a stupid penalty against him. But Blueger is paid $2.2M a year! He’s the kind of two way player to not get rid of. Not to mention his loss of ice time with Big Jeff Carter on the team

That's not happening. Pettersson is arguably the Pens most consistent d-man.

I really didn't pay attention to the team for that trade. Calgary just made some sense since Zadorov is a pending UFA and might end up with a contract richer than 4.1M

He's worth far more than that and the Pens *should* not be trading him. If they're sensible that is.
