Description
I can't wait for every single fanbase on here to hate this, including the Jets fans.

Lets start with PLD, the French Canadian star 1C. Lets say he wants to go home to MTL. Lets say Hughes, who didn't sign that Suzuki contract isn't as convinced in it's value. Theres some risk in it. Lets say Molson sees that marketable french star. Wright/PLD to build around..... Intriguing.

Vegas has another rough season scoring goals, changes are coming. Dcore needs to be paid, Vegas is ruthless when it comes to down years and getting better... They add a second scoring top 6 C in Mark Scheifele... Winnipeg lands their #1D, finally, in Shea Theodore

We Theodore incoming, and the Jets already having an abundance of D. Some need to be moving out.. Starting with Neil Pionk. Vancouver's looking for RHD, and has an abundance of forward contracts... Winnipeg needs top 9 Wingers.. Hello Conor Garland...

Lou's looking for a shakeup.. he loves his vets... he could use a LHD... maybe he wants to add some offence up front... Blake Wheeler with retained salary and brendon dillon are available to him... time for a shakeup

Whose going to be the Logan Stanley sucker? Someone's gotta be? Stay Tuned....

That’s an easy no from the isles. Wheeler is a liability at even strength , the isles have no reason to trade Beauvillier for worse players

MTL won't trade Suzuki, unless the offer is too good to pass.

MTL doesn't have the pieces that would interest Winnipeg.

The only trade i could see happen is if MTL 2022 1st is the 3rd overall pick. Add Hoffman or Armia for cap space for Dubois new contract.

I can't any reasonable scenario where the Jets consider any of these deals. Unlikely the Jets retain that much on Wheeler, unlikely they move their 1st, unlikely they trade needed players for not needed ones and unlikely they make trades to make trades.

Jets don't take back the cap they ask for the 3rd and some other asset if that's the case you got to pay to dump those contracts elsewhere

So Winnipeg want to trade a 8M player, and get no cap back. Interesting...

Unless it's a useful player that fills a need (Dvorak) than there is no point in taking this cap on Unless it's first overall but I doubt you'd want to trade shane Wright for pld

Habs would draft Wright or Cooley with top 2 picks. That's why i think this trade only happen if the pick is 3rd overall.

Not sure MTL would add Dvorak, as he played well under St-Louis and could be worth a 1st next year if he keep playing good hockey. And i think a 3rd overall pick is enough value for PLD.

So Winnipeg would refuse a 3rd overall pick for Dubois because a 3.5M cap hit player is coming back? Armia isn't a bad player.

Not sure they get a better offer, but maybe i'm wrong. Nemec is compared to Miro Heiskanen. Think about that.

If Strome would sign for $5m x 4 years, the Rangers would have signed him to an extension long ago. No chance any team gets him that cheap and for just 4 years.

I like these trades for the Jets (except the Garland one) but I doubt the other teams would accept (except PHI)

Philly would be the only team that may consider it, the rest pass easily. Some of those contracts are bad too.

the habs are looking at being competive 2-4 years from now at best, suzuki will be hitting his prime right in that window and he has been one of the few constants through the crazy up and downs the last three years and is already producing near his contract considering his two way play. i dont see the upside for the has to move him unless its a ridiculous offer.

Dubois is a 2nd line center on a cup team. No one is giving up a top 3 pick for him no matter the contracts returning. Youd get a 1st, roster player and prospect for him. Like for Montreal it would be Cal 1st, Dvorak, Struble

I think Dubois and Suzuki have a similar value. Would you accept a late 1st, 3C and B prospect for Suzuki?

Suzuki is better than Dubois. On both ends of the ice. Dubois is also a 6 year pro. 100+ pims and is about to be traded for the 2nd time.

Suzuki is slated to be the next Habs captain. Only 3 years in and has a 8 year extension to his name so of course not

I love Suzuki, if i had to choose i'd pick him, but Dubois is playing a more physical game and is a better goal scorer. I don't like the +- stats, but Suzuki is -29 this year while Dubois is -6. Suzuki isn't better in every aspect. Both have similar stats this year.

I don't mind the 100+ pims, he can work on that. It was a frustrating season for the Jets. And like i said, he's playing more physical than Suzuki.

He didn't get the 8 years contract right away, but still got a 5M bridge contract. I think him getting a similar contract as Suzuki this summer will prove their value is close.
