I would assume Nylander fetches more than Sergachev. Nylander has 2 years left at 7 mil, whereas Sergachev has 1 year left until pay day. Not to mention Nylander is a potential 40G, 80P winger whereas Sergachev tops likely as an average top pair guy at absolute best

I’d rather have a Dman over a winger tho. Sergachev is an RFA tho so a team can lock him up longterm during his prime years.

I wish I knew half as much about the value of players as you do.
To think Murray passed on Sergachev to take Alex Nylander at a time when Buffalo needed defenseman.
But even worse, Jakob Chychrun was a friend of the Pegula's and Tim passed on picking him as well.
While I never heard anything, I think Terry fired Tim because of the bone head pick and passing on Jakob.

EDIT: I should add, I would pass on the trade as well.
Olofsson may get 35 goals next year and Samuelsson is really solid defensively.
While Little just loves Asplund, he is just a dime a dozen 4th line energy winger.
