Well, that plan needs to go back to the drawing board, because there's less than zero chance Carolina does that lunacy. They would not give you Pesce straight up for him, let alone adding in two other valuable pieces.

I have my doubts that Dubois would ever live up to an $8M per year deal, he'll probably get it but Idk if he's really worth that.

There’s so much wrong here it’s hard to decide where to start…
-Appleton is definitely being extended… Jets wanted to protect him in the ED, tried to get SEA to not pick him, then traded to get him back.. no way they just let him go
-If we could get that for Scheifele I’d personally drive him from WPG to CAR
-Schmidt gets a 3rd without adding to him
-Not only is that to much of a return for DeMelo, but TBL don’t have the room for his cap hit, but again, if it happened, I’d drive him there.. since I’ll already be in that area dropping off Scheifele in CAR
-Dillon returns more
-Barron should be at C, not wing

If DeMelo is available, I hope the Canes would be interested

I think Kaut could be moved in a change of scenery type of deal like this but I dont think Vesalainen is the right target. COL would look for someone with a bit more production imo
