Agreed. As a Ducks fan, the Gibby package is too heavy as well (Saw a Leafs fan propose it yesterday...but yeah, too heavy).

I'd like Boeser, and I know there's some Ducks fans that are in the same boat, but I also don't know that there's a package that makes sense given the stage of the rebuild that we're at.

Rico trade needs a similar contract coming back, especially from Washington.

I can’t see any team giving up over half its upper quality future/young assets in exchange for a goalie who has been extremely mid the last 2-3 seasons or so. Kuemper is a better option who can be signed to an identical contract from FA

Capitals don't have space for Henrique nor do they have the need for another 3rd line winger, so they would decline here quite fast. Also can't see Washington doing any move like this, as MacLellan seems to be going for cheaper pickups, and while Maass could be expendable if he doesn't want to sign in DC, the 2nd rounder is something MacLellan probably is quite hesitant to trade, since he got similar players for the 3rd and 4th lines for less this year with Larsson and Johansson.

And this why goalies don’t get traded for a ton. Gibson has had sub .907 save % the last 3 years after never having a sub .914 season.

These trade proposals have the potential to do something I once thought impossible. Bring Leafs fans and Canucks fans together.

We may not agree on much, but we can all agree that this is terrible.
