Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

This is more of what I see CBJ can do if they want to compete now rather then stay the course for the rebuild and compete in 2-3 years down the road.

I think I'm more on the side of stay the course and see what some of the players we have coming in over the next 2 years can do.

In this scenario we still have a log jam with our forwards. Also have Voronkov coming over in 2023-2024. I think CBJ have better prospects than what they get credit for but I may just be a homer.

This my first post so please comment and lmk what y'all think!

I agree, Just feel like you have to overpay now-a-days if you want that star. (Like Chicago with Seth last year)

Feel like just staying the course with our current rebuild may be best.

I think those contracts can be done IMO. We have Vorachek and Gus falling off when the major ELC's expire. So we can stay under the cap and sign our RFA's.

We are rough with RD's right now, but maybe if Blankenburg or Ceulemans work out and step up we can let Boqvist go. I love Boqy so it'd be tough to lose him.

I think if you can sign or trade for a top pairing RD like Murphy in this ACGM, Ceulemans could fill the 2RD and then you have Peeke. Ngl a potential Miller-Johnson-Laine line would be disgusting

no doubt you are, but so are we and miller is by far the better asset. we could throw in another RD tho maybe a schenn or Myers.

Myers is overpayed but not crazy, and he is not a bad player, he would probably fetch 4.5-5m

We probs cant afford Myers, but yeah hopefully this trade can happen in some way. I think this team needs a player like Miller and I think Vancouver are starting a rebuild/retool? Not really sure with how things are going over there, team has been clicking and playing well since the coaching change so maybe you guys don't change much in the off season.

Yeah that sounds like a good base. TBH I would say just send your later first round pick in 2022 in the Murphy trade so no one has to worry about protection.

Does Columbus have any good LHD prospects that are a bit bigger or at least average size like 6'2" 200 lbs?

Feel like they have too many of the same kind of smallish puck moving type dmen but they aren't good defenders.

We have good LHD prospects in Svozil and Knazko but unless they grow we definitely on the smaller side. We tend to only draft offensive Dmen and try to develop the defensive side of their game. Hopefully we can draft more size or make a trade cause that is definitely a place where the current team and prospects are lacking.

Sounds similar to the Jets and I don't care what anyone says you can't have like 4 small dmen and go anywhere, the playoffs are a different animal and some size/muscle is necessary.
