Fwiw Tkachuk is a little more than a point per game player. And he has other strengths too.

How the hell did you just call 2 players from the same draft year 2 years apart? Tkachuk is 5 months and 25 days older than Kyrou, that's it. Tkachuk is a drastically better player than Kyrou with his way above expected production.

Tkachuk starts with Robert Thomas. Whether Blues fans like it or not, the reality is if you wanna get top line players you gotta give up extremely good assets. This doesn’t get Tkachuk.

Calgary doesn't consider that, The drop off from Tkachuk to Kyrou is pretty massive and a late 1st + Bolduc doesn't make up that gap. Not to mention adding in picks, Poirier, and taking on Scandella's anchor

St. Louis definitely does that. Idk about paying him 10 mil though lol really hoping he'd take below 9 to play in the hometown and not gimp other parts of the team.
