Why do I see all of these Konecny trades? Just curious why the flyers want to get rid of him (or at least their fans seem to).

because they refuse to accept that he has never been a player to score 30 goals in a season. they always forget he is the ONLY forward who can create anything offensively on the team

why on earth sign Kuemper? you already have a top 10 goalie, just use him

have you watched klingberg and chiarot defensively? they're no better than ristolainen. klingberg is a better overall player (his offense helps him out a lot), but chiarot is just as bad, maybe worse

i'd argue he is. he is the reason the Flyers were *technically* still in the playoff hunt until last night. he might not be top 10, but he's right there and will only get better

I wouldn’t sign Kuemper I get that. He absolutely should get better as time moves on and could be top 10 one day. Amongst goaltenders playing in 25 games or more this season he ranks 23 in save percentage and 29th in goals against average. I understand Philly hasn’t been great this year but that still isn’t good

his stats aren't great, but goalie stats are so subjective. if it weren't for Hart, the Flyers might have 15 wins, and there's at least a goal every other game on play that simply should not even be getting a shot off (or the chance happen in the first place)

I'd agree. He's definitely not a top 10 goalie currently. More like an average starter however he is still really young for a goalie and has all the talent in the world so signing a long term starter over him would be an odd move.

As a flyers fan i fire you these trades are all bad and don't make sense and if we don't play ellis he is on ltir. Nolan Patrick still has upside just has an unfortunate condition holding him back from being a solid Center. Provys value is easily more than that. Trading Tk is just stupid. Klingberg isn't substantially better at defense so he's just an overpayment. Why spend 5 million on a goalie when you still need a defense in front of him and hart is our starter.

Just the people who don't actually pay attention to the players. In every game I went to this year Konecny has been most impressive along with Farabee. Konecny doest have the goals because of how he's used by the flyers we wont let him play his game.
