I dont think anyone is paying a 3rd for Dickison right now. After a better year yes. Not sure your getting a 3rd for poolman, but some like him and some dont. But he is right handed, doubt buff pays you a 3rd. I was thinking maybe the Devils for Poolman if they shed him since the Subbannator aint coming back.

I was thinking maybe a 4th for Dickinson. I’m not entirely sure what his value is. I know Poolman should get a decent return though. He’s been pretty decent for Vancouver

Also Buffalo is looking for a partner for Owen Powers. Poolman played with Hughes. I feel like he could fit with Powers

Both Dickinson and Poolman aren’t good players. Their contracts make them unmovable unless you give up assets to move them. Benning screwed us with these bad signings

I hear a mix of things from everyone but I also seen a good amount of games. Poolman really isn’t that bad. He’s decent. Dickinson may not be a good offensive producer but he does his job defensively. At the end of the day they are mostly just decent players. Wouldn’t be much to take to get rid of them. Not to mention Ottawa literally playing Vancouver for Hamonic…

Poolman is better than hamonic and we just got a 3rd for him not to mention Buffalo will struggle to hit the cap floor the next few years so I could see that happening no problem

No one is giving up a 3rd round pick for a 3rd pair defenseman
Maybe you’ll get a 5th for Poolman, if you’re lucky

I would accept that offer as the Los Angeles GM. To be honest, I think Anderson-Dolan is only worth a third.

He’s been terrific in the AHL. Just not enough room on the team for him to play. Still looks like he’ll have some good potential

There’s not going to be a lot of high interest around the league to give up their RHD. Poolman is just an option. And that’s just apart of weather you like this or not. It could end up happening

The point would be to significantly upgrade,
and that’s just not Poolman

Think about it like this:
Do you guys WANT Poolman playing with Hughes next year,
or are u looking for better?

I honestly wouldn’t mind Poolman/Schenn playing alongside Hughes. They’ve been better fits with him since they’ve joined the team. Buffalo would have some better defencemen to acquire but just seeing exactly how little good RHD there are available it’s a little hard to see teams willing to move on from their RHD. For example look at LA. They have all the talent down the right side on defence and Rob Blake didn’t want to move any of them. Especially when it came to shopping for a winger like Garland from Vancouver. It would have to be a good price to pay for a RHD to play with Powers.

We have A TON of Cap Space to overpay a UFA to bridge the gap till the defenseman we pick in the top10 this year is ready

And like i said, if that doesn’t work out we can bring back Pysyk or Miller

That’s true but when and if Buffalo gets closer to playoff contention having that extra cap space would help out a bit rather than having an overpaid player
