Its too much to get from chicago, going to cost a ton. Strome, McCabe isn't bad but debrincat will be expensive.

The problem is in the quality of the assets that you are offering up. Let's say this, Taking out Debrincat (Which I assume is the main piece for the wings in this deal) makes this trade much fairer in value.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying taking out Debrincat makes the trade fair value, but that as you presented it the hawks are getting nothing truly significant outside of the draft pick.

I think it's a lost cause to get this trade to work TBH, you have to start with higher quality prospects or roster players to get Chicago to consider moving him at all.

If I'm trading Debrincat then I'm not looking for two change of scenery players and an unprotected first in a draft class that has been labeled as "Not the greatest". Maybe theres something to a Strome + McCabe for Zadina swap but I dont think Detroit would be interested in that.

Ok but I wouldn't give up DeBrincat for an unprotected 1st Especially Detroit's. I think It's going to be hard for Detroit to drop below 25th or 8th from the bottom and Detroit has the absolute worst luck in the draft lottery.

And apparently its a Detroit thing because the Pistons have awful luck in the draft lottery as well.
