Just my thoughts, but:
-Pittsburgh simply can't afford to move Marino. Miller would be a solid add, but that's a massive hole to dig on the right side, that would be filled by Chad Friggin' Ruhwedel. Digging a hole to fill a hole rarely makes sense.
-NYR can't afford Boeser's QO. Would be fun to see him there, but it doesn't work.
-"Meh", don't really think Calgary needs Hamonic.
-Halak would be a good add for Florida, but I feel like that bonus really kicks them in their cap strapped nuts next year.

Florida declines, Jonas Johannsson has been better than Halak.

Hahaha, he hasn't, but I get what you're getting at. I mean, it's kinda hard to judge based around the fact that Halak has only played 12 games, and 33.33% of his goals against came in his last two starts. The bonus thing would be the only thing that would hold me back. He's a perfectly find option to provide a bit of goaltending depth in Florida. Again, wouldn't accept because of the bonus issue, but Johansson is likely waived again anyway.

Rangers say no. Cap exists. No reason to have to deal with subsequently trading him.

The logic keeps escaping VAN fans when it comes to Marino. It's not that deals like these aren't fair in terms of value, but it makes the Pens MUCH worse defensively. While I think Ruhwedel is grossly underrated, he's not a 2nd pairing dman and DEFINITELY not the next guy you want up if Letang gets injured, so no matter what these trades look like, losing Marino hurts more than we gain.

He also has a full NTC and NMC which makes it really difficult for him to be traded. A lot of Canuck fans forget that when they trade him to a non-contender, he can block that trade. But I'd rather take the roulette with Knight over Halak.

This is fair value wise, but pens only do it if they also were able to get a top 4 RHD from a team to replace Marino. But this is more logical than Boeser for Marino or Garland for Marino.

For sure, and there's probably other bandaids that you could get as a rental upgrade for cheap as well. Certainly not the hole I'd focus on filling for the Panthers. If I was them, I'd be all in on Lindholm.

Yeah, a defenceman, maybe a backup that can split time with Knight and Johansson.

They certainly have the prospects to do that.
