Edmonton can't afford Greiss $3,600,000 cap hit we'd need to take Koskinen back. And we'd be lucky to get a 5th or 6th round pick for Marc Staal. St Louis has no use for Leddy unless Detroit was willing to take back Marco Scandella in return. And no thanks on the Rangers trade Kravtsov is a spoiled brat.

STL is in on 3 other defenseman… Staal, as a veteran D, is very much worth that if it comes in at 1 mil. Oilers cap depends on a lot of things, but I expect they offload Koskinen one way or another. Either than or go 18 mil over the cap and win the cup…

Those returns would be nice but it don't think Greiss returns that And I don't think Edmonton has the space. I've been very curious as to which teams would be in on him. Both Washington and Edmonton said they aren't trading for a goalie unless its a big improvement, so basically Fleury or someone else we don't know is available.
Minny could probably use Gagner now that they lost Gaudreau and that return is fine for me.
Staal said he won't waive his NMC to chase a cup, he and his family are happy in Detroit. That return would be nice and I feel Washington would be a team that would be interested if he did decide to waive.
I know the blues fan don't want Leddy but I could see them be in on him, probably about the return but I personally am hoping for a second.
I don't like the zadina trade at all personally, I am hoping another year to see if he improves. I don't like kravtsov either.

Greiss isn't an up grade from Koskinen.

Koskinen is 2.98 the last 4 years. Greiss, with our atrocious defense, is near the same. May not be a huge upgrade, but certainly not worse.

Washington would probably decline this as LD is not a priority in DC. Fehervary and Orlov are cemented on the top 2 pairs and I don't see Staal being a worthwhile upgrade to Van Riemsdyk. I could see DC being interested in Stecher however, as WSH could use a 3RD that plays better defense than Schultz.
